Trauma Healing - The Woman in Wild Waters
As a teenager, Nicole watched her father die. In the years that followed, she found herself living with anxiety, panic attacks and the deep emotional wounds that can accompany grief. But Nicole’s story is also one of beauty, courage and restoration. In this intimate, mini documentary-style episode, I explore Nicole’s journey and some of the unexpected practices that helped her find her way back to herself — including the healing power of play, nature and wild swimming. Her story reminds us that healing doesn’t always arrive in the ways we expect. Sometimes it is found in cold water, laughter, friendship, movement, beauty and learning to feel alive again.
